Four hours till 2011 and counting...

I'm not one for new years resolutions, I've found that most people who make them (including myself) never actually keep them. They're just empty words uttered to make one feel better about a terrible previous year by making promises to improve the next year.  However, I do find myself in a position that's precariously close in resemblance to making some such resolutions.

Over the past few weeks I've made changes to my lifestyle in preparation for a new me in 2011.  I didn't want to call it a self reinvention as I'm not trying to come up with a new version of myself but rather refine my actual self to the image I hold of my ideal self.  I've dropped my title of "gamer" as well as well as every game once installed on my computer and am focusing more on polishing my preferred title of "artist".

This year, starting on the first of January, I'll upload 1 deviation per day.  Not all of them will be good (in fact most will probably be crap) but it's my way of pushing myself back into art!  I'm quite excited to see how much I'll improve by the year's end and to see if I can actually stick to it.
